"No answer" from a station
A command for your station, such as restarting, unlocking, or starting or stopping charging, goes to the station through DenkCharge. You see the outcome in the app and under Recent commands on the station.
If DenkCharge gets no answer from the station within 30 seconds, the command gets the status "No answer". DenkCharge checks for such commands every 5 seconds, so you see that message 30 to 35 seconds after you gave the command.
It may have been carried out anyway
"No answer" does not mean the command was not carried out. Commands go to a station one at a time; a next command can wait in the queue for up to 25 seconds. After that, the charging platform waits up to 20 more seconds for the station’s answer. So a command can still reach the station and be carried out up to about 45 seconds after you gave it, when the app already shows "No answer". If the answer comes too late, the status stays "No answer".
- Wait a minute and check whether the command had an effect after all: is the station restarting, is the port unlocked, or did the charging session start or stop?
- If so, there is nothing more to do.
- If not, and the station is online, give the command again.
